Nervous Is Normal.
I’ve Got You.
You do not need to know how to pose, what to wear, or how any of this works.
Most women walk through my studio doors with some version of, “I have no idea what I’m doing.”
Perfect. You’re not supposed to. I guide you through the entire experience, from the first question to the photographs you take home.
Start Here
This is your day to stop being the person who takes care of everything.
For a few hours, you get to be the one being taken care of.
There is no performance required here. You do not need to arrive fearless, know your angles, or suddenly become comfortable in front of a camera.
We talk. We laugh. We figure out wardrobe. You get pampered. I guide every pose. And somewhere along the way, that nervous woman who walked through the door usually starts having fun.
Here’s how your experience unfolds.
Plan
Choose your date, get the guide, and start figuring out what you want your session to feel like.
Prep
Wardrobe help, session prep, questions answered and zero expectation that you figure it out alone.
Get Pampered
Professional hair and makeup while you settle in and the nerves start disappearing.
Shoot
I guide you from head to toe. Hands, feet, face, angles. All of it.
Reveal
See your images that same day and choose only the photographs you love.
First rule: stop thinking you need a drawer full of lingerie.
Boudoir can absolutely be lace and lingerie. It can also be jeans, a button down, your favorite jersey, cowboy boots, an oversized sweater, or something that makes absolutely no sense to anyone but you.
Bring options. We go through everything together before we start and choose what photographs best.
- Classic lingerie and bodysuits
- Jeans, sweaters, tanks and button downs
- Jerseys and meaningful pieces
- Heels, boots, jewelry and accessories
- Things you already own and actually feel good in
The best wardrobe is the one that still feels like you.
Private. Comfortable. No audience.
This is not a busy portrait studio with strangers wandering through. Your boudoir experience is private, relaxed and designed specifically for this kind of photography.
We have different areas, textures and sets, so your gallery does not look like one pose photographed twelve times.
And yes, there is coffee. Obviously. 😂
We do not throw you in front of a camera five minutes after you arrive.
Your experience begins with professional hair and makeup. It gives you time to settle in, get comfortable in the space, and ease into the fact that yes, you are actually doing this.
We talk about what feels like you. Maybe that is soft and natural. Maybe it is full glam. Maybe somewhere in the middle.
The goal is not to make you look like someone else. The goal is to make you feel polished, prepared and still very much yourself.
“But Jennifer, I am SO awkward in photos.”
Excellent. 😂
Because I am not waiting for you to magically know how to pose.
I show you exactly what to do. Where your hands go. Where your feet go. Where to look. How to breathe. When to soften your expression. When to laugh.
I am watching the lighting, your posture, your angles, the tiny details in your hands, the strap that twisted, and the hair that landed somewhere weird.
You do not have to photograph yourself. That’s kind of the whole point of hiring me.
Soft. Moody. Playful. Bold. Sometimes all four.
I do not want your final gallery to look like we stood in one corner of the studio and changed your outfit three times.
We create variety through wardrobe, lighting, posing and different areas of the studio. Depending on your session, that may include specialty looks like the shower set.
There is room here for more than one version of you.
Your session does not need to look like the woman before you.
Some women want classic black lace. Some bring boots and denim. Some want dramatic editorial portraits. Some want soft, romantic images.
You are allowed to have opinions. You are allowed to bring ideas. And you are also completely allowed to show up saying, “I have no clue. You decide.”
We make it feel like you, not like a boudoir checklist.
You see your photographs that same day.
No waiting three weeks wondering if you looked okay. No sitting at home convincing yourself every photograph must have been terrible because your brain is rude like that. 😂
After your session we take a break, I prepare your images, and then we sit down together for your reveal.
You choose only the images you love.
This is where you choose your photographs and decide how you want to enjoy them, whether that is an album, digitals, prints, wall art or keepsakes.
Your selected images receive professional retouching after your order is complete.
Because yes, you should know what you are getting into.
I want the pricing part to be clear before you ever book. Your session retainer covers the experience itself, and photographs are purchased separately at your same day reveal.

“I need to lose weight first.”
You do not need to earn the right to exist in photographs. Your body does not have to be in some future version before it deserves to be celebrated.
“I’m going to be awkward.”
Probably for about five minutes. Then I’ll keep telling you what to do until you realize you’re actually having fun.
“I have a million questions.”
Good. Ask them. You can also visit the FAQ page for all the things women usually want to know first.
Read the FAQs →You do not have to be ready to book.
Start with the Coffee & Boudoir Experience Brochure. You’ll get the details, pricing, what to expect and how to take the next step if you decide this is for you.
No pressure. No awkward sales pitch. Just information.
