Boudoir FAQs

You Probably Have Questions.

Good. Most women do.

You do not need to know how boudoir works before you contact me. These are the things women ask me most often before they book.

Before We Get Into It

There are no silly questions around here.

Boudoir is not something most women do every Tuesday. Of course you have questions.

Ask them. I would much rather you know exactly what to expect.

The Questions Everyone Asks First

Let’s start with the big ones.

01

How much does a boudoir session cost?

Your session retainer is $350.

Images and products are purchased separately at your same-day reveal. Collections begin at $1,797, and most clients invest around $2,400 in their final images and products.

I want you to know that before you ever book. No surprises. No awkward “wait, what?” moment after your session.

02

When do I get to see my images?

The same day.

After we finish shooting, we take a break while I prepare your images. Then we sit down together for your reveal and you get to see what we created.

You choose the photographs you love. Your selected images are then professionally retouched and prepared for delivery and any products you order.

03

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely.

If having someone you trust there helps you feel more comfortable, you are welcome to bring one guest age 18+ with prior approval.

I do ask that guests keep their phones put away during the actual session. No photos or video while I’m shooting.

Your comfort matters to me. A lot.

I have no idea how to pose. Is that a problem?

Not even a little bit.

You are not expected to walk into my studio knowing what to do with your hands, your legs, your face or anything else. That is literally my job.

I guide you from head to toe through every pose and expression.

You just show up. I’ll take care of the rest.

What if I’m really nervous?

You probably will be.

Almost everyone is nervous when they arrive, even the women who look ridiculously confident in the photographs you see on my website.

We talk. You get your hair and makeup done. We go through wardrobe. We ease into it.

Usually within the first few minutes of shooting, the nerves start disappearing.

What do I wear?

You do not need to go buy a closet full of lingerie.

Lingerie is great, but so are jeans, bodysuits, button-down shirts, sweaters, jerseys, boots, heels and pieces you already own and love.

You’ll receive a prep guide before your session, and we go through your wardrobe together when you arrive.

Bring options. We’ll figure it out.

Is professional hair and makeup included?

Yes.

Professional hair and makeup are part of your boudoir experience. We’ll talk about the look you want, whether that is soft and natural, a little more glamorous, or somewhere in between.

The goal is still for you to look like you.

Just the version of you who had somebody else do her hair that morning. 😂

Images, Privacy + The Practical Stuff

A few more things you should know.

Do I have to buy every image?

Nope.

At your same-day reveal, you choose the images you love.

You decide which collection or products make the most sense for you.

What payment options do you offer?

You can pay with credit or debit, and financing options include Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay and PayPal Credit.

Pre-session payment plans are also available if you would rather spread out your investment before your shoot.

Will my photographs be posted online?

Your privacy matters.

Your photographs are not something I casually toss onto social media because you had a boudoir session.

Sharing permissions are handled separately, and we can talk about exactly what you are or are not comfortable with.

Do you offer the shower set or artistic nude photographs?

Yes.

Boudoir can be soft, playful, moody, bold or artistic.

If you are interested in the shower set, artistic nude images or something a little more dramatic, we can talk about that while planning your session.

Nothing is ever assumed. We create the session you are comfortable with.

What if I need to reschedule?

Life happens.

One reschedule is permitted with at least 14 days’ notice.

If something comes up, contact me as soon as possible and we’ll work through your options.

How old do I have to be?

All boudoir clients and guests must be 18 or older.
